Holiday Essentials!

This September I'm jetting off to Portugal for 10 days to get away from the rain in Scotland! It just so happens that I will be celebrating my 22nd birthday over there too!

I was struggling a bit for things to feature on this blog, but after gathering loads of stuff for my trip I realised I should show you guys some perfect holiday essentials!

The Summer Scent

I love celebrity fragrances, some are a bit naff and cheap smelling but on the most part they are affordable and bloody good! I bought Adam Levine's new aftershave online as a blind buy. When it arrived I was really pleased with the packaging, it's a heavy bottle and it does not feel cheap.

Spraying it, I realised it would be perfect for going on holiday! It's not too heavy, it's fresh but it has a spice to it, one that clings to your skin and it lasts pretty well. The scent could easily carry you from day to night! Perfect for warm weather of Portugal. I definitely reccomend!

Cool Stuff

I got some cool new stuff for going on the trip!

I got some fudge hair products, I chose stuff that would keep my hair messy but wouldn't weigh it down! The heat abroad is murder on my hair so I wanted something that wouldn't take a lot of time to do. Use both products, style them with the blow dryer and mess it all up! Perfect and fast plus the smell is amazing. Definitely an essential!

Due to my ginger hair and freckled skin, fake tan is a must for me, I was feeling uneasy even thinking about being pale abroad. Some people can rock the pale skin and look amazing but it's not for me, especially when I have an excuse to be the darkest I can be! I chose the Sunkissed fake tan mousse, it's super cheap, I think it's only £4 and it smells amazing! I also picked up a Nivea BB cream because I needed something that would slightly tint my face. BB cream is brilliant because it moisturises and has an SPF in it so I don't burn.

I was eBay shopping recently and seen bandanas for 99p so I grabbed a few to tie around my head for when I'm by the pool and getting lunch. They are just a fun way to give your outfit a little something extra plus they are great for keeping my crazy hair our my face!

This is the cool thing! I picked up a fish eye lens for my iPhone camera so I can take some cool pictures at the villa! It just clips on so easily and you can take cool little snaps straight away. This is a picture I took the other day at lunch so you can see:

Anyway guys, I hope everyone has had a chance to get away this year, maybe not abroad but atleast a little weekend away because we all need time to de-stress!

When I check back in I will be 22 years old, god that's scary to say! I will be sure to make a blog post about my trip!

Thanks, talk later!

T-Shirt Printing!!!

Hey again, hope everyone's Saturday was fun and exciting! Mines was spent dabbling in t-shirt printing. My good friend Jessica plans on launching her own business soon, so she let me see how it all works!

We worked on the design I wanted. It was a case of her doing her magic, printing out the transfer and taking my tshirt to the press!

I was so impressed with the results! I was left with an amazing tshirt to wear out on my Saturday night out down town!!!

Big thanks to Jessica again, you'll be sure to hear more from her on this blog in the future. I can't wait to get more tshirts printed soon! Hope you all have a relaxing Sunday and try not to think about it being Monday tomorrow!

Male Fake-Tan Tutorial - Step By Step Guide!!!!

This is my step-by-step routine for Men (or anyone really) to achieve that real looking glow using fake tan.

Being male, we have very different skin to women, we have thicker hair on our arms and legs, stubble etc. so it's important to prep before you tan.

STEP 1

Preparing to be bronzed!!

To get the best colour and length out of your fake tan it's essential to follow these instructions.

In the shower one day before tanning you should exfoliate using a body scrub (My favourite is Rub Rub Rub from Lush @ £8.50) and a loufa. This will get rid of all of the dead skin and leave you will a nice, clean canvas for your fake tan!

Once out the shower and you're dried off, lather your body with your favourite moisturiser (My favourite is the Blueberry Body Butter from The Body Shop @ £13).

STEP 2

Now you are ready to go!!

Quickly before tanning add some extra moisturiser to your ankles, knees, elbows and knuckles to work as a barrier because those are the driest areas and the tan will cling onto them.

Now, with a tanning mitt, spray and lightly buff the fake tan (My favourite is Lauren's Way Man Tan @ £11.95 from eBay) all over your body making sure you haven't missed anywhere.

Tip: For us single people doing your tan in front of a long mirror helps to see if all your body is covered and is easier to see the hard to reach areas. But if you have a partner, ask them for some help to do your back, because it's the hardest bit to reach!!!

From Pale To Dark Male!!

Pretty soon you will see that you have became a nice tanned colour! Now walk around for 10 mins, tidy up the mess you have made on the floor or fix the little mistakes you have made. This will give the tan time to set and dry off!

Put on some loose clothes, and either go about you're daily business or, like I do, follow this routine before bed then sleep with the tan on and wash it off in the morning.

CAUTION: This tan does have the normal fake tan smell, but I find that this particular tan's scent isn't as potent as others. Remember when washing in the shower use a good shower gel and when out of the shower just pat your skin dry. Also try not to take a bath anytime soon as that will definitely remove your tan.

AFTER TAN CARE & HELP

Now, baby wipes are perfect for correcting areas that have went a bit wrong eg. Knuckles or elbows.

For my face, I tend not to use the actual tan product as my face is very dry and sensitive so I prefer using a gradual tanning lotion (My favourite is the St Tropez Everyday Gradual Lotion from Superdrug). This helps keep my face glowing and moisturised. Try and keep it away from your facial hair though because it will cling and tint it.

Moisturise your body daily to ensure your tan fades evenly and there you have it! A perfect bronzed glow all year round!

WRAPPING IT UP!!

I hope this helped the various males around the world that need some help tanning or even overcoming that fear of their first fake tan! It's easy and a real confidence booster. Who said fake tan is just for girls?!

Thanks guys, have a great weekend!

MY VERY FIRST BLOG EVER!

Hello there,

My name is Jordan Fisher, I am twenty one years old and I have finally (after years of saying I would) started my own blog.

Now, I have wanted to create my very own blog for a while and hopefully I can find people in the world who will appreciate my weirdness. What i'm trying to start here is something I haven't really seen before, because it can't be pigeon holed. I want this blog to be useful to people.

I would never EVER call myself a "male beauty blogger" but for the sake of my first time readers thats what we will say I am. I am a guy, who is very much into the world of beauty and I love nothing more than experimenting it all on my own body (that sounded terrible).

I would love guys (and girls AND ANYBODY) to come view my blog to get the insight on various beauty products that you may be too scared to try yourself or just to see whats new. Up and coming blogs will feature "My Male Fake Tan Routine" and how to match your face to your body, "Beard Trimming & Tinting". Also I will be featuring loads of cool stuff that I know I love to read about on other peoples blogs, like fragrance collections and Clothing hauls.

I will also feature stuff about whats going on in my life. It is my blog after all, and I would love to form a friendship with the people who check out my blog, and I'd love to check out their blogs too. I will feature stuff about my weight loss and working out, new tattoos, change in fashion, my career struggles and achievements and loads of other cool things.

I hope you will enjoy what i've got in-store!

Thanks,

Jordan
